'Machine Party' - Announcement

09 Apr 2026

Hello!

Today we announced Machine Party in the 2026 Triple-i Initiative showcase, in collaboration with our publisher Oro Interactive.

This is a computer game myself and GDeavid have been working on since September last year. It's a collection of violent party games for 2-4 players, that all have lethal consequences.

These minigames have players assembling firearms in a factory, smoking cigarettes as fast as possible, running across minefields, dodging trains, eating peas competitively, and much more. There's a lot of fucked up stuff happening in the facility.

This is a game I've been wanting to make for a while, and I've had a blast working on it so far. We've tried our best to cut down the amount of dialogue, transitions, and other board game aspects that minigame collection games have usually had in the past. This makes Machine Party a frantic back-to-back party game with almost no fluff and wait times. Just survival!

Here's a semi-tangent for ya - back in the day when Buckshot Roulette was in its early stages of development, there used to be a lot more dialogue and exposition, before it was eventually reduced to a minimum. For something that's so focused on gameplay (compared to titles like Unsorted Horror and s.p.l.i.t), that stuff ended up getting in the way. After that was done, to me it felt like the player's time was respected much more for what you would expect seeing a game like Buckshot. I hope the same will be true for Machine Party.

Although if you've played my previous games, you might notice a couple of familiar things ...

With all that said, Machine Party is releasing late this summer. We're still hard at work, and I can't wait for you to get your hands on it! More news will be coming soon.

Thank you for the continued support, and have fun :)!
